Service Description

Forest Therapy – Reconnecting Through Nature Forest therapy, inspired by the Japanese practice Shinrin-yoku (“forest bathing”), invites you to slow down and connect with nature through all your senses. It’s not a hike or a workout—it’s a gentle, guided experience of simply being with the forest. Why Forest Therapy? Forests are often called the lungs of the Earth. They breathe with us—producing oxygen, filtering the air, and absorbing the carbon dioxide we exhale. This silent, reciprocal exchange mirrors our deeper connection with the living world—one we often forget in modern life. Trees absorb sunlight and send energy through their leaves and roots, returning it to the soil. We too rely on the Earth for air, food, water, and balance. When we forget this bond, we may feel disconnected, tired, or creatively blocked. What to Expect • The session lasts a good two hours. • We walk slowly—no more than 2.5 km in total. • We speak very little, allowing space for presence to arise. • You’ll receive gentle invitations to explore the forest—through touch, listening, noticing, or simply resting. There is no pressure to perform—just space to be. • Breath is key. With the forest as your anchor, slow, deep breathing calms the nervous system and brings you into rhythm with the natural world. • We close with a quiet tea ceremony, a moment of shared stillness and reflection, inspired by Japanese tradition. The Deeper Effects: After a good hour of walking in nature, something often begins to shift. Your nervous system softens. Creativity reawakens—gently, without force. Intuition rises to the surface, alongside long-held dreams or quiet callings. You may find that the forest offers you exactly what you didn’t know you needed— either a reminder that you belong to something vast and powerful, or a deep humbling that reroots your own quiet presence. Forest therapy is not about fixing or achieving. It’s about remembering and attunement. Reclaiming your rhythm, and letting nature hold you, just as you are.
